North Creek Presbyterian Church

North Creek is a family-focused, Presbyterian and Reformed church. We are committed to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and to the Bible as the Word of God.

A Closer Look - 25th Anniversary

Building Relationships. Specifically, “providing worship, learning, and service opportunities that God might give people, in and through the North Creek family, growing relationships with Himself and each other,” has been North Creek’s vision from its beginning. Being a relationship oriented church has been our identity. And as we step forward from our first 25 years, it still is.

But as we look at the demographics of the communities around us we are convicted that we need to add a couple of steps in order to build those relationships now. We can’t expect to advertise our worship and learning opportunities and have people “come and see.” We have to “go and tell.” We have to befriend those who don’t attend church, and help them take steps that direction.

To that end we are prayerfully adding two levels of ministry. The first is what we’ll call North Creek Connect. The thought is to provide activities and service projects to which you could invite a neighbor, a co-worker, a classmate. This would provide that person a chance to meet your friends, Christians.

Author Ed Stetzer writes, “With few exceptions, people come to Christ in steps, and these steps usually involve conversation and community with believers.” We want to create the opportunities for that conversation and community.

New and varied activities and projects will be made available throughout the year. You can keep an eye out for them and when you meet someone you think might be interested, extend an invitation to join you and meet some of your friends.

The second level of ministry we will be adding is that to which you could invite that person next - an “open” small group, where he or she could experience Christianity. But, more on that in the coming weeks. For now, let’s get to work making friends through North Creek Connect.
