First Time Visitors
North Creek Presbyterian Church wants to welcome you and thank you for joining us for worship! North Creek is a reformed Presbyterian church located in Coconut Creek, FL. Below we have provided some helpful hints as you further discover North Creek.
Parking
Upon arriving you will see signs in our parking lot welcoming you. Our 5-acre property offers plenty of convenient, close parking to our front door. A Welcome Center table is located at the front entrance with a free gift bag for your first visit.
Greeters
Our volunteers are here to welcome you warmly and answer any questions you may have about our worship services, events, classes, or opportunities to get involved.
Bringing Infants, Children, or Teens
North Creek offers a variety of learning opportunities for all ages. Simply ask the greeter for the class location best suited for your family. Our Learning Hour classes are offered between services from 9:15 - 10:15 AM. Click Here to discover additional learning opportunities offered each Sunday morning.
The nursery will be open to families with children ages 5 and under during each worship service. The nursery has windows that look into the sanctuary for quick viewing. Two adults are always present in the nursery and watches over your child. Older children are encouraged to join their parents for worship, and there are children’s bulletins and crayons available for them in the entryway.
Worship
North Creek Presbyterian Church offers two worship services - early (8:30 AM) and late (10:30 AM) morning. The same sermon is preached at each service. Click Here to see the full Sunday morning schedule.
Early Morning Worship, 8:30 - 9:15 AM, is accompanied by classical guitar or piano, has a slightly more formal order of worship that includes an observance of the Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday of the month. It is a reverent, reflective way to begin the week, and is smaller in attendance.
The 10:30 AM Worship Service accompanied by our longtime instrumentalists, and by vocalists, occasionally includes special music by our North Creek Chorus. Ending by 11:30 AM, there are delicious refreshments enjoyed on the walkway afterward.
FAQ
What do I wear?
Some dress casually, and some prefer to wear more “business casual.” Just know that you will be welcome and we will be grateful to have you as our guest!
Will I be introduced publicly?
Not at all. Our visitors are our special guests and we want you to feel comfortable and at ease as you discover North Creek and worship with us. You can be completely anonymous if you wish. But if you'd like to introduce yourself, the pastor and his wife do greet folks at the door after each service.
Is There Communion & Offerings?
We observe Communion once a month at our 8:30 AM Early Morning Worship and once a quarter church-wide. Our bulletin announces these dates a week ahead of time, that you might prepare yourself in anticipation.
One need not be a member of North Creek to come to the Lord’s Supper. Communion is open to any professing Christian not barred from the table by church discipline. We do ask children who have not become communing members of a local church to refrain.
An Offering plate is passed each service in which you have the option, if you so desire, to give a tithe or gift. We also provide prayer request slips every other week to place in the Offering plate if you would like our Prayer Team to pray for your requests. We also have a Prayer Request tab on our website where you can submit prayer requests - 24/7.
